UNMASKING THE DEVIL! PT 1!
Isaiah 14:12 NLT
“How you are fallen from heaven, O shining star, son of the morning!
You have been thrown down to the earth,
you who destroyed the nations of the world.
The name Satan isn’t the name of the evil one but that of his ministry. It is the Hebrew word “watan” pronounced as “sawtan”, meaning “accuser” or “adversary. The word “devil” is akin to Satan, it is from the Greek word “diabolos” which means a false accuser, the reason he is called the accuser of the brethren, (see Revelation 12:10)
Job 1:6-7 NLT
[6] When the day came for the heavenly beings to appear before the Lord, Satan was there among them.
[7] The Lord asked him, “What have you been doing?”Satan answered, “I have been walking here and there, roaming round the earth.”
The above scenario didn’t take place in the third heaven as presumed by some schools of thought, but in the second heaven, which is within the universe.
Genesis 18:25 NKJV
Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”
The Holy Ghost is the one Abraham referred to as the judge of all the earth. The heavenly beings mentioned in the previous Book of Job 1:6 appear before him at appointed times to give reports of their responsibilities; verse 1 of Job chapter 2 buttresses this point.
Ezekiel 28:13 KJV
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
[14] Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
The above description is that of Satan; he is not a dragon, a goat with long horns, a serpent, or a wild-looking beast. He might choose to manifest in any of these forms or even more as his totems but he is an angel named Lucifer, who governed the pre-adamic civilization from the garden of Eden that was full of precious stones before it was destroyed.
He is not in hellfire and has never been there; his throne is in the second heaven as the prince or ruler of the power of the air (see Ephesians 2:2).
He is not omnipresent but has a network of messengers that oversees nations like the Prince of Persia, cities, communities, and families. He is not all-knowing, and cannot read your mind. He gets information through your words and your regular thoughts, which appear as smokes in your atmosphere; the reason the Spirit admonishes that you cast to the earth every thought or knowledge that is contrary to God’s word as they can be used as tokens to fabricate contrary events against you.
Declaration
I refuse to be ignorant of the devices of the devil which he wrought through the mind and emotional manipulation to compel his subject to bring forth evil things through unguided thinking
I declare that I am sober, sound in mind to perceive his evil advances and frustrate them on time in Jesus name, Amen!
