THE SOUL, SPIRIT’S FOCUS!
Hebrews 4:12 NKJV
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The Spirit of God made a profound statement about the necessity of the soul in relating with man as written here,
Proverbs 20:27 GW
A person’s soul is the LORD’s lamp. It searches his entire innermost being.
The human soul is the mediator between spirits, their realm of existence, and the human body. Information from the body gets to the spirit world through the soul. Also, spirits communicate to the body through it; the reason spirits cannot use a dead body as its soul is disconnected from it.
When the body experiences a health situation due to the activities of wicked spirits, medical attention cannot suffice because the affliction is coming from the soul, where the contrary spirit resides.
A lady had a condition with her breast, and it was surgically removed; months later, the other breast developed the same condition, and it was taken off, too.
The affliction advanced to her kidney, and it was taken out; when it affected the second kidney, she realized there was something mysterious about her health condition; she attended a meeting where she was ministered to, and she was healed, and the affliction terminated.
If she had sought God’s intervention from the moment she experienced the situation with her breast, it wouldn’t have degenerated into the situation she found herself in.
This condition shows that the affliction was masterminded by a spirit residing in her soul. So, however, despite the medical attention given to her body, the condition persisted

19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
At new birth, your spirit was recreated, your soul saved from eternal condemnation and your body purchased by the blood of the LORD Jesus Christ unto the most high God for his use.
Now, how well the LORD can manifest himself to humanity and creation through your body, depends on how yielded your soul is to your spirit, and this is based on the amount of light the soul receives through, listening to sermons, study, and meditation on the word of God, having quiet time where you are silent and reflecting on God. You can contemplate what the LORD Jesus said his Spirit would do for his body, the church, ( John 16:13).
As seen in Proverbs 20:27, the LORD God can discover the content of a man’s mind through his soul.
Contrary spirits influence a man to carry out their bidding by influencing the soul.
Whoever controls the soul controls the body, the reason we are asked to protect our souls with all diligence.
Declaration
I declare that my soul is only responsive to communications arising from the realm of light
I chose to continually keep my mind and body in peace by consciously meditating on things that are godly in Jesus’ name; amen!
