THE SOUL, SPIRIT FOCUS pt2!
Hebrews 4:12 NKJV
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The man Elihu, a Buzite, a friend of Job under the influence of the Spirit of God made a profound statement on how the human brain receives information,
Job 32:8 NKJV
But there is a spirit in man,
And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.
The different forms of man’s existence are highlighted in the above scripture,
The first is the word “spirit”, which is from the Hebrew word “ruach,” meaning wind. The spirit of a man is a portion of God, given to every man but is recalled back to God when a man passes on without his spirit being born again.
The second is the word, “Man” which is the Hebrew word “Enosh,” which means a mortal man, referring to the body with which the man relates to the physical world.
Thirdly is the word “breath,” which is Hebrew “neshamah,” which refers to the soul.
So, the Spirit lets us know that even though there is a spirit attached to a man, the soul is the one that gives him comprehension of all things.
The human soul is the mediator between the human spirit and the body. He is responsible for transmitting life and light (divine revelations) to the body.

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
The LORD Jesus birthed our spirits with eternal life and wants us, through our conscious and consistent acknowledgment, to have it overflow to our bodies because as long as it only resides in our spirits, it won’t benefit our health.
So many Christians have eternal life in their spirits yet their bodies are under the oppression of death.
A brother who was experiencing prolonged stomach pain came to church and we ministered to him, he testified that when he got home, he vomited a live cockroach, meanwhile, he had carried out a series of medical tests and nothing was found wrong with him, this is because the affliction was captured in his soul.
Spirits of darkness aren’t interested in a man’s spirit. He cannot be accessed because he is one Spirit with Christ. They are not after the body because the moment the part of the body they cohabit is taken off, they are checked out. They are only interested in the soul because no medical attention gets to it, but the moment the soul is detached from the body and it is no longer animate, they leave as they cannot use a lifeless body.
Declaration
I declare that the maximum load of eternal life and everlasting life are repleted in my soul. Therefore, my body is swallowed up by life; death through sickness, disease, and infirmity will never find expression through my body in Jesus name; amen!
